Research: Locations 1

These locations are all in the same building which would have made it easier to film I don't want to do this for my music video because I don't think it would be effective and I would like to use a range of locations because I think it would be better then sticking to one. These locations are brightly lit and this fits the song well because it is an upbeat song and the colours and the lightly match this prefect. I would not be able to use the same locations as this because they would have hired the building out and I will not have the funs to do this. When I come to make my music video i want the colours and locations to match the song I choose like Parmore have in there A'nit It Fun music video.

Planning: Updated Ideas

The type of music video I am going to make is a pop punk music video. For inspiration I have been looking at bands like "Nickelback" and "Paramore" I have been looking at these music videos because they are entertaining to watch and I would like my video to be likes these.

The people I could work with and are Liam but if he becomes unavailable then the other alternatives are;

The music videos that appeal is a a combination of performance based and concept which has a story behind it.

Research Black Eyed Peas Video 1

I have analysed The Black Eyed Peas "Where is The Love" music video and made a mind map of this. The things i need to make sure my music video does:

• I need to include signs for my music video to have a meaning for my TA
• I would need more performance then narrative because it I think my TA will prefer it 
• I would like my lyrics to fit well with the music video
• I would also need a range of locations   

Initial Research Ideas

The artists that I like are

imagine Dragons,
Foo Fighters,
Eminem,

These are bands and artist that I listen to and all have a rock and punk style to them. So for my music video I would if possible like to use a song from one these but if not then I would like to use a song that is similar to there type of music

The Brief Reponse

A promotion package for release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:

• A website homepage for the band;
• A digipak for the album's release;
• A magazine advertisement for the digipak.

For this course I will be making a digipak for the albums's release and a magazine advertisements for the digipak. I decided not to make a website as  I don't have the skills.

I have an eclectic range of music which means I like most genres of music. I m looking to this course because I can be very creative which is what I enjoy.
