P&O Actors and Locations 4
My group filmed on the 14th and the 15th. On the 14th we filmed Liam's part in the tunnel this was so could have a extreme close up of the lead singers face. We got him to sing the whole song so we could cut to this shot at anytime in the song. I think the filming went ok but if was difficult to film because of the cold weather and it was darker then we would have liked but we got the shots that we needed so it was a success. We didn't need transport because we all live in Brigg so it was easy to arrange a time and place to meet.
The filming on the 15th went very well because we got a lot of different shots and angles including a low angle shot and a tracking shot which is one of the most important ones we needed. It was my group, Chris and Courtney we filmed them walking together and being a couple and also them having an argument so we can have that scene before the end part of courtney walking in to see the band The filming was easy to organise because we all live in Brigg and we were free all weekend.

Organisation of Actors and Equipment
I am contacting Chris and Courtney to do a reshoot. I want to ask Courtney to wear a different costume - something soft that connotes love and suggests they are close. Hopefully we can film this week and i can collect the equipment we need. I also need to look at the weather for the week.
Planning and Organisation of Location and Storyboards
| We need to use this location for the same reason, the tunnel provides a great focus and frame. We also need extreme close ups - this is a shot type we are missing. We also need tracking shots. |
TA Research Qualitative Focus Group
We put all of our clips onto the timeline on Final Cut Pro X and synchronised them we then let the focus group watch what we have so far and we asked them questions at the start and it gave them an idea on what to look out for and what they need to tell us.
The questions we asked them were:
What do you think of the shots that we used?
Is there anything that you think we could improve on?
One 17 year old girl said that they liked the night shots and how we used the car headlights as lights and how they were some of the most effective shots.
Another 16 year boy say that they liked the cut aways to the group and giving the actual story and how he liked the beginning with the band member waking up and pressing the alarm because it worked well with the lyrics and how he was singing as he was waking up another person also liked this part.
Another person also comment on the nights shots and how they are effective.

Planning & Organisation [P& O] Actors and Locations 3
Unfortunately the filming on Monday 2nd was cancelled last minute due to one band member arriving 1 hour late to the shoot. At the time we had planned to film the lighting was prefect for the shots that we wanted but by the time the last band member had arrived it was too dark and foggy and we were unable to get the shots that we wanted so we had to cancel the filming.
We have now planned on filming for the chorus tomorrow at 6 o'clock. The location for this shoot will be at Alex's barn.

Research: Kerrang and Bauer Media
Kerrang! is a UK-based magazine devoted to rock music, currently published by Hamburg based Bauer Media Group. It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the Sounds newspaper. Named after the onomatopoeic word that derives from the sound made when playing a power chord on a distorted electric guitar, Kerrang! was initially devoted to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and the rise of hard rock acts. In the early 2000s it became the best-selling British music newspaper. This would be a good place to put my advert because would reach a wide audience and for people who enjoy listening to rock music but i feel that they focus on heavy rock the most but the music we have chosen is a punk rock so I feel like they would not want to publish my advert about this band and music because it wouldn't fit in with the rest of there music.
Germany that manages a portfolio of more than 600 magazines, over 400 digital products and 50 radio and TV stations around the world. I think this company would the best to publish my advert because they do not focus on one type of music like Kerrang and our advert would appeal to a lot of people because of the 22 million people that Bauer Media reach. If I choose Bauer then my advert would be on the radio and in many different magazines.
